You can make your current graphics card faster, and potentially get dramatically better performance out of it, by overclocking.

The point is that your results from overclocking will be specific to your machine and your card. Perusing the results before continuing can only be helpful. So before you do any overclocking, run your benchmark tool to get a baseline reading. I used three different benchmarks for my tests, so on my stock GTX before any changes in the Afterburner app, the results were thus:. I recently noticed that i've been getting some fps drops between s then 60 when i'm playing on pubg with all settings ultra on a p G-sync Dell monitor. I'm new to the nature of overclocking a GPU so I decided to go to youtube since I can follow along with videos and I came across this youtuber by the name of Jay2cents.
I notice he mention about reaching power limit of 1 and how that can throttle my performance. I have attached an image showing some information about the test. I am assuming that you have the basic reference design since you didn't say otherwise and since you are hitting the power limit by default. Hitting the power limit is very common with these cards. That will raise the power limit from to watts. You will probably still keep hitting the power limit, but you will be able to keep a higher boost before hitting the power limit, at least.
Do not increase voltage at all. Increasing voltage rarely has much affect on these cards and will only cause you to hit the power limit more often. Cool GTX.
